Como mon\u00f3mero de vinilo fundamental, el VAc presenta una alta reactividad y se utiliza ampliamente en la s\u00edntesis de pol\u00edmeros y copol\u00edmeros, desempe\u00f1ando un papel fundamental en la producci\u00f3n de adhesivos, recubrimientos y textiles.<\/p>\n<h3>Aplicaciones principales<\/h3>\n<p><strong>S\u00edntesis del acetato de polivinilo (PVAc):<\/strong> La principal aplicaci\u00f3n del VAc es como mon\u00f3mero para la producci\u00f3n de PVAc, un pol\u00edmero termopl\u00e1stico. El PVAc se utiliza ampliamente en adhesivos de l\u00e1tex blanco (cola para madera, cola para papel), agentes de apresto textil y aglutinantes para pinturas, y es muy apreciado por su gran poder de adhesi\u00f3n, su bajo coste y su respeto por el medio ambiente.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Copol\u00edmeros de acetato de vinilo y etileno (VAE):<\/strong> La copolimerizaci\u00f3n del VAc con el etileno da lugar a emulsiones de VAE, que presentan una excelente flexibilidad, resistencia al agua y adherencia. El VAE se utiliza en recubrimientos arquitect\u00f3nicos, aglutinantes para tejidos no tejidos y adhesivos para embalajes, sustituyendo a los productos tradicionales a base de disolventes para reducir las emisiones de COV.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Otros copol\u00edmeros:<\/strong> El VAc se copolimeriza con el cloruro de vinilo (VC) para formar copol\u00edmeros de acetato de vinilo y cloruro de vinilo (VVCl), que mejoran el comportamiento durante el procesamiento y la flexibilidad a bajas temperaturas de los productos de PVC.
