Como alternativa ecol\u00f3gica a los plastificantes ftalatos tradicionales (por ejemplo, el DOP o el DBP), el DOTP ha experimentado una amplia aceptaci\u00f3n en la industria del pl\u00e1stico debido a sus ventajas medioambientales y de seguridad.<\/p>\n<h3>Aplicaciones principales<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Plastificante principal para el PVC:<\/strong> La aplicaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s habitual del DOTP es como plastificante principal del cloruro de polivinilo (PVC). Aporta una excelente flexibilidad, resistencia a las bajas temperaturas y resistencia a la intemperie a los productos de PVC, al tiempo que mantiene una elevada resistencia mec\u00e1nica. Se utiliza ampliamente en cables, tuber\u00edas y perfiles de PVC, en cuero artificial, en suelos y en productos m\u00e9dicos de PVC (por ejemplo, tubos de infusi\u00f3n y bolsas de sangre).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Modificador de pol\u00edmeros:<\/strong> Se utiliza como modificador de las resinas ABS, PS y de poliuretano (PU), mejorando su tenacidad, resistencia al impacto y rendimiento en el procesamiento.
