Como uno de los \u00e1cidos dicarbox\u00edlicos m\u00e1s importantes de la industria qu\u00edmica, el \u00e1cido ad\u00edpico es una materia prima fundamental para la producci\u00f3n de nailon 6,6 y se utiliza ampliamente en pol\u00edmeros, recubrimientos, lubricantes y aditivos alimentarios.<\/p>\n<h3>Aplicaciones principales<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Industria de los pol\u00edmeros:<\/strong> Su principal aplicaci\u00f3n (que representa aproximadamente el 90% de la producci\u00f3n mundial) es como mon\u00f3mero para la s\u00edntesis de nailon 6,6 (polihexametileno adipamida), que se produce mediante policondensaci\u00f3n con hexametilendiamina. El nailon 6,6 se utiliza ampliamente en fibras, pl\u00e1sticos t\u00e9cnicos y textiles debido a su elevada resistencia mec\u00e1nica, a la abrasi\u00f3n y al calor.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Recubrimientos y adhesivos:<\/strong> Se utiliza para fabricar resinas de poli\u00e9ster, recubrimientos de poliuretano y agentes de curado epoxi, mejorando la adhesi\u00f3n, la flexibilidad y la resistencia qu\u00edmica de las capas de recubrimiento.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lubricantes y plastificantes:<\/strong> Se utiliza como materia prima para la fabricaci\u00f3n de \u00e9steres de adipato (por ejemplo, el adipato de dioctilo, DOA), que son plastificantes de alto rendimiento para el PVC y los cauchos sint\u00e9ticos, as\u00ed como aditivos lubricantes para la automoci\u00f3n y la maquinaria industrial.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sector de la alimentaci\u00f3n y las bebidas:<\/strong> Aprobado como aditivo alimentario (E355) para su uso como regulador de la acidez, potenciador del sabor y agente leudante en productos de panader\u00eda, bebidas y confiter\u00eda.
